Overview

In the light of the Midterm Review (MTR) mission, from January 14th to 25th, aiming at regular monitoring of the JCAR project and the research project PEPSI activities, a field visit was conducted to the El Max pump station in Alexandria. This facility, equipped with two pump units comprising a total of 12 pumps, stands as a testament to our commitment to enhancing water management infrastructure.

During this visit, the team had the opportunity to meet with trained engineers, who are at the forefront of managing and maintaining these critical assets. The engineers shared their experiences and insights, highlighting the positive impact of their training on both their professional capabilities and the station's operational efficiency.

Furthermore, the excursion extended to the pump stations and the spare parts warehouse, providing a comprehensive overview of the operational framework and logistical support that underpins our water management efforts. The feedback from the engineers was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring their satisfaction with the training programs and their readiness to apply their enhanced skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the pump stations.
