Overview

In the light of JCAR project, a meeting with held by Dr. Sherif Mohamady, head of the NWRC, and Mr. William Oliemans, the Team Leader of JCAR, in collaboration with the Deltares. The meeting aimed to follow up on the project's action plan and discuss the most significant activities and accomplishments carried out by the center so far.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Alaa El Din Abdeen, the NWRC vice-president for research planning, and Dr. Abdel Hamid Khater from the Technical Secretariat of the center's president. The purpose was to agree on implementing the directions of the Mid Term Review team and to maximize the benefits from the JCAR project. It's noteworthy that all obstacles facing the project were presented, with ongoing efforts to overcome them through coordination with research institutes, ministry sectors, and external entities involved in the project.
