As a part of JCAR’s outreach activities, Ms. Marona Korte, JCAR’s operation manager and gender expert, has represented us in the prestigious Women Deliver 2023 conference in Kigali, Rwanda. This global event focused on empowering women and advancing gender equality, provided a significant platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
 

At the conference, Ms. Marona passionately highlighted the crucial roles and challenges faced by women in agriculture, with a particular focus on Egypt. Gender equality in the agricultural sector is not only a matter of justice but also essential for sustainable development and food security.
